For this trek you just need a day bag to carry during the trek, extra luggage can be left behind at the camp site. Proper bedded swiss tents are available on this trek.

>Can we consume Alcohol during the trek?
It’s a strict no. If you fall sick during the trek due to alcohol consumption H2H has the right to cancel your trek and send you back to base village. No expenses shall be refunded in that case and you will have to pay additional for stay at base village.

>How do I prepare for the trek?
Start running/walking at least 3-4 Kms everyday.

>What kind of shoes will I need? Does a sport shoe work?
If it’s a snow trek a good trekking shoe is mandatory. If you buy a new shoe do walk for few days so that it fits you well and doesn’t leave you with blisters while you trek. If it is a summer trek or post monsoon trek a shoe with good grip and ankle support will do.

This certificate must be filled out by an MBBS doctor. Without it, the forest department will not issue permissions for your trek. Hike2Heaven also requires this certificate.

  • A paracetamol that tackles fever and mild pain.

If you are prone to motion sickness, carry Avomine. Take one-half hour before the start of your road journey.

 Useful for sudden twists or muscle strains. Combiflam is a pain reliever containing paracetamol.

 Take it if you feel the food, you’ve consumed is undigested. Alert your trek leader immediately, as it could be a sign of AMS.

 Consume an ORS pack at least once a day, usually mid-day during your trek. It replenishes essential salts lost while trekking. Tip: It also makes cold water easier to drink.

Carry this if you are prone to knee injury or have known issues of knee pain.

The Bhyundar Khal Trek is a relatively lesser-known trek located in the Himalayan region. It gains its significance from being explored during the time of British India by Sir Frank Smythe, an English mountaineer, and botanist, renowned for his mountaineering exploits in the Alps and the Himalayas. 

Journey to the Gateway

 

Starting Point: Your adventure kicks off from Rishikesh, where you'll embark on a scenic road trip to Govindghat. Along the way, you'll be treated to picturesque views of the Himalayan foothills and pass by several sacred pilgrimage sites.


Arrival at Govindghat: Upon reaching Govindghat, your starting point for treks to the Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib, take some time to prepare for your trek and settle in for the night.


Trek to the Base Camp

 

Trek Begins: Today, you'll begin your trek from Govindghat to Ghangaria, which serves as the base camp for both the Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib treks. The trek offers moderate challenges but rewards you with stunning landscapes along the way.

  • 30% of the payment must be done at the time of booking.
  • The remaining 70% of the payment must be cleared before arrival as it is required to arrange stay, food, and other equipment for the trek.
  • Full payment must be made in advance to confirm bookings and can be done in Cash/UPI/Bank account only.
  • Personal cheques and post-dated cheques are not acceptable.
  • Payments can be deposited using bank details, online payment, Gpay, Phonepe, Paytm.
  • A scan or fax copy of the bank-stamped deposit Pay-in slip or a screenshot of the transaction is required for online transfers.
