Har ki doon ,lies in the Garhwal Himalayas of uttarakhand state in India . The valley is surrounded by the green bugyals ,snowy layer of mountains and alpine vegetation.

History of Har ki doon

The valley clothe oneself in snow from October to March . It is believed that yudhishthira,one of the Pandavas , climbed the peak on his way to heaven .That’s why this valley enhances it’s importance in respect to Hindu culture.

A river flows in between of the valley , which seems like the drawing every child draw in his childhood, showing the mountain in the back and river flowing on the foothills.
