>What if we want to leave extra luggage at the base village?
You can keep extra luggage in the base village for any particular trek. There are no cloak roo charges applicable. Its free of cost.

>Is there mobile signals available on treks?
If you are going on a trek don’t expect mobile signals. There are few spots on the trails of few treks where you might find a single tower or something but it always depends if that is enough to make a call or not.

>How do you manage toilets?
We use portable toilet tents for sanitation needs, as permanent structures may not available. These are dry toilets, so please bring wet wipes or tissue paper for personal hygiene.

>Do I need to carry trek equipment?
For this trek you just need a day bag to carry during the trek, extra luggage can be left behind at the camp site. Proper bedded swiss tents are available on this trek.

>Can we consume Alcohol during the trek?
It’s a strict no. If you fall sick during the trek due to alcohol consumption H2H has the right to cancel your trek and send you back to base village. No expenses shall be refunded in that case and you will have to pay additional for stay at base village.

>How do I prepare for the trek?
Start running/walking at least 3-4 Kms everyday.

>What kind of shoes will I need? Does a sport shoe work?
If it’s a snow trek a good trekking shoe is mandatory. If you buy a new shoe do walk for few days so that it fits you well and doesn’t leave you with blisters while you trek. If it is a summer trek or post monsoon trek a shoe with good grip and ankle support will do.

Carry the original and a photocopy of a government-issued photo identity card. This can include a driver’s license, Aadhar Card, or passport. The forest department requires this for identification purposes.

This certificate must be filled out by an MBBS doctor. Without it, the forest department will not issue permissions for your trek. Hike2Heaven also requires this certificate.

An essential part of Live Saving Drugs, Diamox helps reduce the chances of Acute Mountain Sickness on the trek.

  • A paracetamol that tackles fever and mild pain.

If you are prone to motion sickness, carry Avomine. Take one-half hour before the start of your road journey.

 Useful for sudden twists or muscle strains. Combiflam is a pain reliever containing paracetamol.

 Take it if you feel the food, you’ve consumed is undigested. Alert your trek leader immediately, as it could be a sign of AMS.

 Consume an ORS pack at least once a day, usually mid-day during your trek. It replenishes essential salts lost while trekking. Tip: It also makes cold water easier to drink.

Carry this if you are prone to knee injury or have known issues of knee pain.

Our trek leaders carry a high-altitude medical kit, including Life Saving Drugs, and are trained to handle emergencies. Contact your trek leader before consuming any of these medicines.

Dehradun to Gangotri


Journey to Gangotri: Depart from Dehradun, heading to Gangotri, one of the four Char Dham pilgrimage sites in Uttarakhand. The drive offers scenic views of the Himalayas and the opportunity to see the Ganga River's origins.


Prepare for Trek: Upon arrival in Gangotri, take the day to acclimatize and prepare for the trek ahead. Visit the Gangotri Temple to seek blessings for a safe journey.


 Gangotri to Bhojbhasa


Trek Begins: Start the trek from Gangotri to Bhojbhasa. The trail runs alongside the Bhagirathi River, offering stunning views of the valley and surrounding peaks.


Camp at Bhojbhasa: Arrive at Bhojbhasa and set up camp for the night. This area offers a serene environment and spectacular views of the Bhagirathi group of peaks.


Bhojbhasa to Tapovan


Ascend to Tapovan: Continue the trek from Bhojbhasa to Tapovan, passing through Gaumukh, the snout of the Gangotri Glacier. The ascent to Tapovan involves a steep climb but rewards trekkers with breathtaking views of Shivling and other peaks.


Explore Tapovan: Spend the afternoon exploring Tapovan's meadows, known for their natural beauty and tranquility. Camp here for the night, beneath the towering Himalayan peaks.


Tapovan to Kirti Glacier


Trek to Kirti Glacier: Depart Tapovan for a day trek to Kirti Glacier. This portion of the trek takes you closer to the raw beauty of the Himalayas, showcasing glaciers and rugged terrain.


Return to Tapovan: After reaching Kirti Glacier and exploring the area, return to Tapovan to spend another peaceful night in the meadows.


Kirti Glacier to Bhojbhasa


Descend to Bhojbhasa: Begin the trek back to Bhojbhasa from Tapovan, retracing your steps through Gaumukh. This day allows you to take in the majestic beauty of the region from a different perspective.


Overnight in Bhojbhasa: Arrive back at Bhojbhasa for the night. This is an opportunity to reflect on the journey so far and enjoy one last evening in the wilderness.


 Bhojbhasa to Gangotri


Return to Gangotri: Trek from Bhojbhasa back to Gangotri. This final leg of the trek brings you back to civilization, marking the end of your Himalayan adventure.


Rest in Gangotri: Spend the night in Gangotri, resting after your trek and visiting any local sites you may have missed upon arrival.


Return to Dehradun


Journey Back to Dehradun: Depart from Gangotri, heading back to Dehradun. Reflect on the experiences of the past week, from the spiritual sights in Gangotri to the natural wonders of Tapovan and Kirti Glacier.


Reflections: Once back in Dehradun, take time to absorb the trek's physical and spiritual journey through one of the most sacred and beautiful regions of the Himalayas. The trek offers not only a physical challenge but also a deep connection with nature and spirituality.

  • Carry valid id card i.e. Aadhar Card/Passport/Driving Licence.
  • Modification or Amendment is accepted in compliance with the cancellation policy. Any changes in tax must be paid by the guest.

  • Guaranteed bookings are those for which the full and final payments have been received before start of Trek.
  • 30% of the payment must be done at the time of booking.
  • The remaining 70% of the payment must be cleared before arrival as it is required to arrange stay, food, and other equipment for the trek.
  • Full payment must be made in advance to confirm bookings and can be done in Cash/UPI/Bank account only.
  • Personal cheques and post-dated cheques are not acceptable.
  • Payments can be deposited using bank details, online payment, Gpay, Phonepe, Paytm.
  • A scan or fax copy of the bank-stamped deposit Pay-in slip or a screenshot of the transaction is required for online transfers.
