Explore and Camp: Upon reaching our chosen lake, we'll spend the day immersing ourselves in its peaceful ambiance. We'll set up camp by the lakeside, allowing us to fully appreciate the tranquility of our surroundings as we settle in for the night.

Day 6

Pari tal to Sahastra Tal to back Pari tal

Day Trip to Sahastra Tal: Today, we embark on a day trip from Pari Tal to Sahastra Tal, aptly named the "Lake of a Thousand Lotuses." This remote lake beckons with its untouched natural beauty, offering us a chance to connect with the pristine wilderness.

Return to Pari Tal: After a day of exploration, we'll trek back to Pari Tal, where we'll once again be greeted by the serene beauty of the lake. As the day draws to a close, we'll find solace in the peacefulness of our campsite by the lakeside.

Day 7

Pari tal to Kush kalyan

Trek Back to Kush Kalyan: Today marks the beginning of our descent as we retrace our steps from Pari Tal back to Kush Kalyan. Along the way, we'll revisit the lush meadows and stunning landscapes that have enchanted us throughout our journey.

Camp at Kush Kalyan: Arriving back at Kush Kalyan, we'll spend the night reflecting on the experiences of our trek so far. Surrounded by the beauty of nature, we'll find a sense of peace and contentment as we prepare for the final leg of our adventure.

Day 8

Kush kalyan to Pinswar

Trek to Pinswar: Today, we bid farewell to the remote wilderness as we make our way from Kush Kalyan to Pinswar. This part of our journey offers a different perspective as we transition from the solitude of the mountains to the sights and sounds of civilization.

Night in Pinswar: Upon reaching Pinswar, we'll find rest and respite in this village, soaking in the warmth of its hospitality as we prepare for the final stretch of our trek.

Day 9

Return to Rishikesh

Departure from Pinswar: After a hearty breakfast in Pinswar, we begin our journey back to Rishikesh. As we leave behind the remote beauty of the Himalayas, we carry with us memories of our adventure and the lessons learned along the way.

Arrival in Rishikesh: Returning to Rishikesh by evening, we mark the end of our trek. Amidst the spiritual aura of this sacred city, we take time to reflect on the experiences that have shaped us, from the serene lakes and lush meadows to the rugged trails of the Himalayas.

Reflections: Back in Rishikesh, we pause to reflect on the profound moments of our journey. How To Reach

By Air

Dehradun’s airport is the Jolly Grant Airport, which is located 20 km away from the city centre. You can hire a taxi from the airport to reach the city, which should take you 40 to 45 minutes depending upon traffic.

By Train

Dehradun is connected by regular train services to various cities. The Dehradun Railway Station is located 1-2 kilometres away from the city centre and should take you only ten minutes, depending on traffic.

By Road

Dehradun is well connected to cities like Delhi, Shimla, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Agra, and Mussoorie by various buses. Most operate from the ISBT near Clement Town, with departures every 15–60 minutes. Additional services run from the Mussoorie Bus Station near the railway station and the Delhi Bus Stand on Gandhi Road.

How do you manage toilets?

We use portable toilet tents for sanitation needs, as permanent structures may not available. These are dry toilets, so please bring wet wipes or tissue paper for personal hygiene.

Do I need to carry trek equipment?

For this trek you just need a day bag to carry during the trek, extra luggage can be left behind at the camp site. Proper bedded swiss tents are available on this trek.

Can we consume Alcohol during the trek?

It’s a strict no. If you fall sick during the trek due to alcohol consumption H2H has the right to cancel your trek and send you back to base village. No expenses shall be refunded in that case and you will have to pay additional for stay at base village.

How do I prepare for the trek?

Start running/walking at least 3-4 Kms everyday.

What kind of shoes will I need? Does a sport shoe work?

If it’s a snow trek a good trekking shoe is mandatory. If you buy a new shoe do walk for few days so that it fits you well and doesn’t leave you with blisters while you trek. If it is a summer trek or post monsoon trek a shoe with good grip and ankle support will do.
